What is Hughesnet Mesh Wi-Fi?
Hughesnet Mesh Wi-Fi Nodes are an optional add-on to your Hughesnet Whole Home Wi-Fi. You can strategically place these Mesh Wi-Fi Nodes throughout your home to eliminate dead zones and ensure wall-to-wall coverage.
How do I add Mesh Wi-Fi to my Hughesnet plan?
You can lease or purchase Mesh Wi-Fi Nodes when you set up your Hughesnet Internet plan.

What plans does Hughesnet have?
Hughesnet Internet offers 3–4 plans per area for a variety of household needs:
- Speeds start at up to 50 Mbps** and range up to 100 Mbps**
- Standard Data is unlimited, and Priority Data1 ranges from 50 to 200 GB
- In select areas, Fusion plans up to 100 Mbps come with reduced latency
Can you buy extra data from Hughesnet?
Yes. Every Hughesnet internet plan includes unlimited Standard Data1, but you can buy additional Priority Data Tokens to restore faster speeds until your billing cycle restarts.
Priority Data Tokens come in increments of 3, 5, 10, or 25 GB and can be purchased online or in the mobile app.
How to get unlimited data with Hughesnet
With the new Hughesnet satellite internet, all plans come with unlimited Standard Data1 and a set amount of Priority Data.
- While using Priority Data, your traffic is prioritized on the Hughesnet satellite internet network
- Once you switch to Standard Data, your traffic is deprioritized, resulting in reduced speeds
